Enjoy America’s birthday at Okaloosa Island’s 4th of July at the Landing! One of the best fireworks celebrations you will see anywhere in Northwest Florida, the 4th of July at the Landing in Fort Walton Beach is a seriously sweet celebration of who we are as a country, as a people, and our history as the greatest country on the planet.
Over 200 years ago on July 4th, 1776 in Independence Hall in Philadelphia the Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence. Fed up with Great Britain’s Monarchy and their scheme of taxation without representation, brilliant and courageous personalities such as Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, and Thomas Jefferson decided that they had had enough. On that day, America was born.

Since then, our country has grown up into the land of the free and the home of the brave. Come out and celebrate these values of justice, liberty, and diversity with friends and neighbors in a show of patriotism and community.
A generous helping of hot food, vendors, and live entertainment will keep your entire family engaged, excited, and really feeling the holiday spirit. This annual celebration is free and open to both locals and tourists!
Of course no 4th of July would be complete without a dazzling fireworks show. The City of Fort Walton Beach sponsors the event, and whips up an awe-worthy display of exploding red, white, and blue lights that dance across the sky! See for yourself why the 4th of July at the Landing is the area’s top 4th of July party!
