1. Emerald Coast Home & Boat Show

Back again Saturday, September 15, 2018 11 AM to 4PM, the Emerald Coast Home & Boat Show is bigger and better than ever! This convention combined the greatest points of Gulf Coast living, with vendors displaying goods for land and sea, with an alternative focus on healthcare. Admission is FREE to this family-friendly event, as well as FREE healthcare evaluations including free chair & back massage, chiropractic evaluations, and video ear scans! Still not interested? 2. Emerald Coast Con 2018

Out of all the events on Okaloosa Island, this is one of the most highly anticipated! Emerald Coast Con is the #1 tech gathering on the Gulf Coast! Now in it’s fourth year, gamers, techies, and sci-fi enthusiasts from across the country will descend upon the Emerald Coast Convention Center on Okaloosa Island. Participants can strut their gaming skills, or simply enjoy the world of technology with like-minded individuals. This event is FAMILY-FRIENDLY, with an emphasis on cordial competition and nostalgia. A costume contest and retro-arcade are just some of the reasons why Emerald Coast Con 2018 is a fun event for all-ages! 3. Emerald Coast Fall Classic Volleyball Tournament

Enjoy some hearty competition with the Emerald Coast Fall Classic. This annual volleyball tournament pits the regions best volleyballers against eachother in friendly contest! Single, double, and 4 player competition will take place over a 4 day span on Oklaoosa Island at the Okaloosa Island Boardwalk. After the competition is complete, celebrate with the victors at the fampous Fudpucker’s on the Island! The tournament takes place from Oct 17-21, 2018 and sign-ups are open to the public at Emerald Coast Volleyball.

4. Okaloosa RevFest

Get ready to dance, jam, and sing your heart out to the music of the Gulf Coast’s top entertainers! Okaloosa RevFest brings you a variety of music, from reggae to rock, on 2 stages all day long! Held rain or shine, attending this legendary local music fest is a no-brainer. 5. Nighttime Educational Beach Walks

Through sea turtle season experience the fun of Nighttime Educational Beach Walks! This 2 hour event focuses on the marine life of Okaloosa Island, specifically sea turtles. Discover sea turtle nests and keep an eye out for hatchlings on the white-sand beaches of the Emerald Coast! Learn from marine specialist while encountering sea critters in a natural and safe environment. Beach walks are sponsored by the Emerald Coast Convention Center and Visitors Bureau and are limited to groups of 20.
