Redneck Beach

Redneck Beach is Okaloosa Island's low-key beach destination. Beneath the Destin bridge, Redneck Beach is central to the West Jetties, Gulfront beach, and the Choctawhatchee Bay.

Redneck Beach is located underneath the Destin Bridge on Okaloosa Island. A great spot for swimming, snorkeling, and exploring the shallow bay waters, Redneck Beach was named for the laid-back atmosphere and deep-south travelers that frequent the spot. Although the title “Redneck Beach” may appear less-than-desirable, the area is family-friendly and actually quite clean and scenic.
